One Room Destroyed in Eastman Restaurant Fire | News

A restaurant in Dodge County caught fire early Saturday morning.

The Eastman fire department says around 1 a.m. they got a call about a fire at Sugarberry's Steak and Seafood and Flightline Cafe on Main Street in Eastman, Ga.

They say the fire started in a cooler storage room area inside an electrical box. A spokesman for the fire department says the storage room was destroyed and the rest of the building has heavy smoke damage.

The fire department say no on was inside building when the fire started.
