The Royals baseball team took the field in Fitzgerald Tuesday coming off a tough home loss to Hawkinsville.  They were down three starters.  Bryant Trice suffered a knee injury in the seventh inning of Monday's game.  Also hurt were Frankie Lee Mullis (wrist) and Chastain Coleman (concussion.)  For six innings, the only run on the board came via Caleb Slaughter's two-out double in the third.  BCHS had left nine men on base.  In the seventh, Kyle Brown scored two more runners via a double.  Pitcher Kace Kirkpatrick made it stand up in a 3-0 win.  Kirkpatrick pitched 4 2/3 innings of no-hit ball.  He gave up three hits, no walks, and struck out 12.

Slaughter finished 3 for 4 with 1 RBI.  Dylan Churchwell was 3 for 4 with a double.  Ben Harris was 2 for 3.  Bleckley plays Friday at Wilcox County.  Game time is 6 pm.
