Bleckley Board Of Education Hires Coach, Band Director

The Bleckley Board Of Education hired John Chance as a teacher and coach at a special called meeting held Tuesday evening. 

According to his bio, on robinsfootball.com, Chance has coached at Warner Robins High School since 2005.  His duties this year were ninth grade assistant football coach and assistant boys basketball coach.  Chance has been a football assistant coach at both Westside-Macon and Perry.  Also hired was Scott Matthews as band director for Bleckley County High and Bleckley County Middle School.  Matthews has been band director at Rutland High School.  He replaces Louis Foster, who will retire at the end of the school year.
