Woman Crashes into Huddle House, Gets Free Lunch | News

Hawkinsville Huddle House received a surprise through its front door Monday afternoon.

A woman crashed her vehicle through the front doors of Huddle House Monday afternoon after accidentally tapping the gas instead of the brakes, according to Huddle House supervisor James Windham.

"Somebody must have been really hungry for lunch," Windham says.

Windham says no one was hurt and the two women in the vehicle came in to eat afterwards.

Huddle House gave them their lunch for free.

He says the cleanup crew came quickly and the foyer area is "demolished."

They'll have to let guests use a side entrance during repair work, Windham says.
