A Day for Allie at Dairy Queen.

As the story goes, a Cochran Dairy Queen employee went above and beyond to be kind to eight-year old Allie Itson when she and mom Diane were at Dairy Queen a few weeks ago. Following a thank you call, and the restaurant learning of Allie battling moyamoya disease, they decided to hold a fundraising day for her Saturday. Itson got to serve as “manager” that morning, and there were special activities for children. DQ collected donations and donated 20 percent of sales to the family to help with ongoing medical costs.
