BCHS Gets Road Sweep In Hawkinsville
Tia Troup had 18 points, and Myesha Moore added 11 as the Lady Royals won in Hawkinsville 67-32 Friday night. Bleckley opened the game on an 11-0 run and led 18-2 after one quarter. Marcus Mack scored the Royals first five points, and had a game-clinching layup in the waning seconds in a 56-49 win, completing the sweep.
Mack had 13 points and 3 steals. Ken Hughes scored 13 points with six rebounds. Mario Beck scored 12 with nine rebounds.
The Royals led for most of the game despite only shooting 34 percent from the field and going 11 of 28 (39 percent) from the line.
Bleckley hosts Houston County Tuesday. Tip time is 6 p.m.
