Jake Winborn, 6, is a normal first-grader at South Dodge Elementary School. He likes to play games, and his mom, Regina, said he is an outdoor type of kid. Jake says he likes to play on the monkey bars. He thought it was cool when he met James Holland, and found out Mr. Holland was 72 years older than him. He had to shake Mr. Holland's hand.

The funny thing about Jake is, well, he is strong Republican, and maybe the youngest member of the Dodge County Republican Party. At Thursday's meeting at Eastman City Hall , Jake, was there supporting the cause, and he wasn't the only one. Others attending included(pictured) Cletus Mullis, Charles Strickland, Billy Vaughn, Jackie Wright, Brian Lowery, Barbara Dean and Frances Edge.
