Cochran church holds benefit softball tournament

House of Grace held a six-team softball tournament Saturday.  Proceeds benefitted an upcoming mission trip to the Dominican Republic.  The church will host a motorcycle run raising funds for the same trip March 29.

 Cost is $25 with all participants entered into a $25 gift card drawing.  

Registration is at 8 a.m., kick stands up at 9.  The ride starts at the church, 133 Jac Arts Road.  Call Deanna Brady, 478-230-0807, for more information.

Cochran Church to Hold "Blessing of Animals' Ceremony

Trinity Episcopal Church, located at the corner of Fifth and Cherry Street in Cochran, will hold a "Blessing of Animals" ceremony October 5 at 10 am.  People can bring their pets to receive a special blessing.  Those attending are asked to ensure their pet is leashed.  Call the church office at 478-934-2771 for more information.

Bleckley 4-H To Hold Rabies Clinic

Bleckley 4-H To Hold Rabies Clinic

There will be a rabies clinic in the Bleckley County 4-H parking lot May 18 from 8-11 am.  It's sponsored by Bleckley 4-H and Bembry Veterinary Clinic.  Cost is $10 per animal. 

The Bleckley 4-H is located at 165 Peacock Street.
