Trinity Episcopal Church will hold their annual Blessing of the Animals service Saturday at 10:30 am.  Pet owners are invited to bring their furry friends to receive a special blessing.  The church is located at 110 N 5th St in Cochran.

If you're in Cochran Saturday morning and need your car washed, you have two opportunities to pay someone else to do it as well as support local fundraising.  Fierce Dancing Divas, a Bleckley-based competitive dance team, will be holding a car wash and bake sale at the Citizen's Bank from 9 am-1 pm.  The UnAshamed youth group at House of Grace will have a car wash at the church from 9 am-noon.  Proceeds benefit an upcoming trip to Wild Adventures.

Bleckley 4-H held a rabies clinic and pet show at the Cochran Bleckley Recreation Department Saturday.

There were goats and other animals on display in the petting zoo. Dr. Jim Rahn, of Eastman, demonstrated pet first aid. Dog owners could enter contests with their four legged friends including best tail wagging and best tricks.

The Greater Atlanta Dog and Disc Club had a pair of demonstrations.
