Southeast Bulloch scored off a deflected ball 1:05 into their match Monday with the Lady Royals.  Bleckley's defense kept them scoreless from that point until 14:54 of the second.  Though Ashley Burton's goal at 8:29 cut the deficit to one, BCHS lost 2-1.

Masha Morris and Jacob Waters scored first half goals for the Royals.  SEB got on the board at 13:37 of the second.  An apparent game-tying goal about three minutes later was waived off because the shot taken was supposed to be an inadvertent kick.  Bleckley won 2-1.

The girls will play at Screven County (who has no boys program) Friday at 5:30 p.m.

Both teams will be in action March 22 in Eastman versus Dodge County.  Match times are 5 pm girls, 7 p.m. boys.

Musician and conversvationalist Chuck Leavell visited Bleckley County Middle School earlier this month.

He was there to assist the BCMS Media Team who are currently working on projects for PROMOTE and GMA (Georgia Movie Academy.)  Students working on PROMOTE have been tasked to build a website from scratch.  The site must be based upon research taken from Georgia Performance Standards.  The PROMOTE team's project is on conversation and recycling.  Leavell's knowledge of conservation allowed him to help that group.
