With morning temperatures in the upper 50's making feel like fall, the 14th annual Fall Buddy Ball game was held Saturday morning at the Cochran Bleckley Rec. Department.  There were 70 special needs children from Bleckley, Dodge, and Pulaski Counties participating in the baseball game designed for those who normally wouldn't get to participate in team sports.

Each athlete was assisted by "buddies."  The volunteers included members of the BCMS and BCHS softball teams, BCHS baseball teams, as well as BCHS Competition Cheerleaders and Middle Georgia State University baseball and softball players.  After the games and trophy presentations, everyone enjoyed hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch.

Spring Buddy Ball will be April 29, 2017.
