I-16 Ramp Closure Delayed | Transportation

The ramp closure scheduled this week for Exit 24 on I-16 are rescheduled for Friday through Sunday both east and westbound in Twiggs County.

The contractor is performing concrete pavement rehabilitation on I-16 on all lanes in each direction beginning at SR 96 (Exit 24) in Twiggs County, continuing through Bleckley County to a point east of SR 278 in Laurens County.

·         Friday, February 17: I-16 eastbound and westbound ramps at Exit 32, beginning at 7 a.m. until 7 a.m., Saturday, February 18

·         Saturday, February 18: 1-16 eastbound on-ramp at Exit 27, beginning at 7 a.m. until 7 a.m., Sunday, February 19

·         Sunday, February 19: I-16 eastbound and westbound ramps at Exit 24, beginning at 7 a.m. until 7 a.m., Monday, February 20
