Rebecca Bunn, won the Teen Miss Ga. Forestry title in Tifton, Ga. Saturday.

Bunn goes to nationals on September 3.

Groundbreaking Ceremony for Cochran Community Garden

The Cochran Community Garden will have a groundbreaking ceremony.

The event will be held Thursday May 26 at 6 p.m. at the County Extension Office.

The County Extension Office is located next to the Bleckley Memorial Hospital and behind the Bleckley County Headstart school on 165 Peacock St.

 

Bleckley FFA Wildlife Camp June 14-17

The Bleckley FFA will offer a wildlife day camp for students in grades 3-5 June 14-17.  Cost is $150 and includes camp supplies, lunch, snack, T-shirt, transportation, and admission to the Raptor Center in Roswell. 

Camp will run from 10 am to 3 pm each day except Friday.  Attendance is limited to first 25 students who register and pay $50 deposit.  Remainder is due the first day of camp.  Checks should be made out to Bleckley FFA.
